Bio

Alex Lusty has released 20 albums and 3 EPs. His music has been played on Radio 1, Radio 2, 6Music, XFM, LA’s KROQ, and others worldwide.
He has performed at Glastonbury, Bearded Theory, Alerta Amsterdam, Glade, and the Rebellion festivals.
As well as 10 appearances on the Radio 1 roadshow, he has also performed with Half Man Half Biscuit, Pharoahe Monch, Chumbawamba, Pop Will Eat Itself, Echobelly, Mark and Lard, Sensor, UK Subs, Sham 69, Ugly Duckling, Akala, Conflict, and S*M*A*S*H, plus many more.
Along with singles of the week in Melody Maker and Daily Mirror, Lusty also appeared live on Radio 1 from the renowned Maida Vale studios.
In addition, he has worked on 3 albums with Morrissey’s guitarist and co-writer Boz Boorer, legendary Philadelphia rapper Vinnie Paz, and the late poet and actor Benjamin Zephaniah.
His music has also been featured in TV and films most notably the movie Green Street.
